Poet: "Always Be" is an extremely friendly 2 year old thoroughbred colt for sale. He has been extensively handled since birth in April of 2007. He currently stands about 15.1 at the wither, should mature to a solid 16 hands. He was broke slowly over the summer by a high school student under my guidance (I am pregnant) and never batted an eye, he's been ridden about two dozen times on a lunge line (w/t/c) and a handful of times loose in our outdoor arena (125x250) and has been nothing but a gentleman. He clips, ties, stands for the farrier, loads, bathes, and I've pulled his mane once or twice but it's so thin I generally just trim it. You can throw tack on him tied or loose and he doesn't flinch. He's really a doll of a horse and a very fancy mover. He has an extremely balanced canter, a long ground covering trot, and he's been free jumped once and shows incredible potential. I think this horse will finish out as a spectacular hunter, and really has the personality to suit an amateur or a child with the help of a trainer. He's always willing to try anything we ask of him, so hopefully someone will give him a great home and appreciate his giant heart! $2,500
